During the three-day conference, AQA delegates participated in various sessions and meetings. AQA Member Hon. Gurjeet Singh Aujla, MP, India presented at and participated in the Board Meeting of the Global Urban Air Pollution Observatory (GUAPO).
AQA Advisor Ahmad Rafay Alam, Esq. presented during Plenary Session VI: Act on air pollution to achieve health and climate goals (SDGs, Paris Agreement) -- Solutions across sectors.
AQA President and Convenor, Ms. Shazia Rafi, delivered AQA's Commitment Statement at the closing Plenary Session X: Cleaning the world's air: time to act and commit! - Conclusion and next steps.
During the Conference, the AQA Delegation also met with WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, to brief him on AQA Parliamentary action and advocacy on air pollution in the region.
