Amritsar (The Tribune India): Local MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla on Tuesday gave a presentation during the inauguration the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) first global conference on air pollution and health at the General Assembly of Global Urban Air Pollution Observatory (GUAPO) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The conference will be held from October 31 to November 4. Aujla is representing the Amritsar Air Quality Asia India Group. Aujla said Paris, The Hague, Abidjan, Besancon, London, Madrid, New York, Tokyo and Seoul were member cities of the GUAPO, while Beirut, Sofia, Ulaanbaatar and Valencia were in line to be inducted as candidate cities.
